Its world toilet day and Google is all set to come up with a feature to track toilets in India!
Yea, sanitation problem has always been high and guess Google has found a solution to deal with it.
Google is all set to launch a toilet location tool within Google Maps to shoot out the sanitation problem in India.
Sources say that the US search firm has partnered with India’s Ministry of Urban Development for this project! It is also said that some of the estimates claim that 70% of households in India don’t have access to toilets which unfortunately result in open urination.
The International Business Times India has reported that the tool will first roll out in Delhi Metropolitan Area. It is said that the navigation will work in the same way as it is done to find out locations or restaurants.
To access this, all you need to type in the Google Map App is the word “Toilet” or Hindi words like “Swach” and “Shulabh”. Though Google has not provided any timeline for the expansion but it is said that the project will go live in Delhi by the end of the month.
Okay, now that’s something different and unique going to happen in India!
