Well, today is record breaking Supermoon. It is said that today, the moon will be nearest to the earth! This full moon will be the closest and brightest Supermoon of 2016.
It’s a sky show that entire planet can enjoy. “Everyone gets to see the moon,” Petro, deputy project scientist for the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter circling the moon said, “It’s a great shared resource for all humanity.”

- Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in 1469 AD.
- Since childhood, Guru Nanak Dev Ji engaged people in long holy discussions.
- Pakistan has a gurudwara named ‘Panja Sahab’ dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
- At age of 12, father of Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave him Rs 12 to do business. Nanak Ji bought food from that Rs 12 and then distributed among poor and saints. When his father asked him about the business, he said he did ‘True Business’. A gurudwara was made at the place where Nanak Ji fed the poor and is named ‘Sacha Sauda’.
On this auspicious day, ‘Akhand Paths’ are organized in gurudwaras and also processions are taken out
