Aditya, Shraddha, Badshah’s Team Work Has Ruined The Humma Humma Song For Us. Here Is How!
The Bollywood drama is back with the release of Humma song from Ok Jaanu. Yes, the same 90s bedtime anthem of every naughty couple. Ok Jaanu is one of the most anticipated millennial movie to be released in 2017, and the producers decided to create some buzz to keep the excitement ablaze. A.R. Rahman is remaking his own blast from the past, what could possibly go wrong?
Well, a lot did actually.
A baby face trying too hard to look sexy. We are not against Shraddha Kapoor and her beautiful face, but not even a minute into the video and you see a teeny innocent face of Ms Kapoor attacking us with her signature cute cute cute (stop) cute cute (just stop now) cute smile. Again, cute girl Shraddha Kapoor lip-syncing to “Humma Humma…” looks like a kid singing a nursery rhyme.
Talking about teeny charm, we have Aditya Roy Kapoor with expressions identical to the ones we have seen in Ashiqui 2, Fitoor, Ye Jawani Hai Diwani, etc. Now, this is what we call consistency.
A.R. Rahman did his job to the perfection by giving a very upbeat and hap music according to the taste of millennials. We were ok with the song until the rap part appeared. That’s when most of the people turned off the song, YouTube, laptops/phones, changed their names and ran to the farthest country with no Bollywood music. Mr. Rahman, why Badshah? Any word/song coming from Badshah is anything but sexy.
Another song to join the club is Haseeno Ka Deewana from Kaabil, however we are keeping the fingers crossed for Laila O Laila from Raaes.
