5 fictional characters we wish we could date in real
Every book lover has a literary character they secretly crush upon. Falling in love with fictional characters is as easy as opening the first page of the book. They straddle the perfect lines; have an awesome sense of humour; are unassuming in nature; are loyalty and trust personified; and if that does not hurt they are even blessed with looks to die for. In a nutshell, they are everything you wish your real lover was.
Real life is completely different from the fictional world we love to escape into every now and then. But if our real life partners are just not about to do it for us, then fantasising about these dreamboat characters from books and wishing they were with us in reality as they are in our fantasy is not that bad an idea.
So grab that cup of smoking hot coffee, snuggle up in bed with a book and transport yourself with one of these uber cool and sexy characters from the world of fiction. And with a sigh just think what would it be like to date them in real.
1. Mr. Knightley from Emma
Kind, compassionate and loving; he is the proverbial Mr. Good guy. In the game of life, he seems to be playing with a stacked deck. Pity, they don’t make it like him anymore.
2. Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey
Seriously, who would not want to break their vow of ‘no-one-night-stands’ if this guy jumped out of the book and asked them for a night in the town?
3. Elizabeth Bennet from Pride & Prejudice
Sharp, intelligent, quick-witted, lively and unconventional; Lizzy is a woman of substance and is not afraid to call a spade a spade. Blessed with a delightful disposition, she is the kind of girl you would want to take home to mama.
4. Bridget Jones from Bridget Jones’s Diary
Funny, goofy, entertaining, sexy, has a taste for adventure and an opinion on everything in life – from exercise to men to food to sex and everything in between. She is the kind of girl every man secretly wishes his girlfriend was like.
5. Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice
He still, after all these years, makes women go awww every time his name is mentioned. Tough form the outside, mushy from the inside; he is the ultimate poster boy of every book wielding woman across the ages. Straight forward guy who loves deeply and unapologetically, he is the stuff romance is made of.
So this was my list to good to believe characters from the world of fiction. Who are the ones you would wish to date?
