If you are one of those Typical-North-Indian-working-in-corporate-sector kinds, chances are that your breakfast this morning (probably 4th this week) was either Bread-butter or at best, a butter-laden paratha. After all, who has the time and inclination to prepare a decent enough breakfast spread, especially when the tic-toc from the wall clock is getting louder by the second and you could literally see your boss’ glaring face in it.If it weren’t for weekends, we might have never even heard of dishes like Poha, Upma, and French toast.C’est La Vie, right? No, not anymore. We’ve compiled a list of eateries in and around Delhi that serve all local and international varieties of breakfast dishes, and some of them do it throughout the day. The list contains joints to address palates and wallets of all kinds and sizes; so read on and drool J 🙂
1. All American Diner :
No breakfast-joints list can be complete without mentioning the one that’s been an all-time favorite among us Dilliwallas. Their spread is an interesting and tempting mix of European and American snacks, and needless to say, their signature dishes are their USPs.
We suggest: – Classic Double-decker Burger, Baked hash n’ corn, Waffles, The Sunrise skillet.

2. The Coffee Shop :
Although they serve typical American and English breakfast spread too, this is probably the only place in NCR, where you’ll find an authentic Himalayan breakfast.

3. Qahwa Dinercafe :
This is one of those small-yet-spacious, cozy cafes- complete with a small balcony to sit in if the weather’s nice- which somehow forces you to indulge in the most important meal of the day.
We suggest: – Spiced milk, Hangover breakfast, Kashmiri qahwa, Crepes, Burritos.

4. Elma’s Bakery :
They say, you eat with your eyes first. If that is true, then the ambience plays a very important part too in your foodie experience. Elma’s is a place that will definitely appeal to all your senses especially your taste buds, which will be in for a royal treat. Elegantly charming, warm and welcoming- that’s how we would describe the place.
We suggest: – Red velvet cake, Muesli,Scrambled eggs, Shepherd’s pie, all kinds of smoothies and shakes.

5. Eggspectation :
It’s all about…well, eggs. ‘The’ place to go if you are a die-hard egg lover, and scores such will vouch for its lavish variety. Think of any dish, from any part of the world, belonging to any course, and the chances are that you’ll find it here definitely with egg in it.
We suggest: – All their salads, burgers, and sandwiches.Don’t miss their Berry Berry beverage.

6. Madison and Pike :
French toast, waffles and Pancakes, enough said. Some of the offerings include those with Lemon ricotta, Smoked cheese, Chicken, and Chipotle.
We suggest: – Dressed Up Hot Chocolate to wash them all down.

7. Saravana Bhawan :
Touch base with your Indian roots, and what better way to do it than to indulge in a true-blue Indian meal. Pure, early morning bliss.
We suggest: – Crispy Vadas and steaming hot, fluffy Idlis with Coconut chutneys, Any dosa, Filter coffee to end, and BURP!

8. Bagel’s Café :
If you’re somewhere in South Delhi, and are runningtooshort of time to sit and have a decent meal, head over to Bagel’s in Defence Colony and you can walk out half hour later with a very satisfied palate and a thankful gut.
We suggest: – Chocolate Dutch pancakes, Multigrain sausage Bagel, Coffee- it’s really strong.

9. Smoke House Deli :
When your USPs are signature smoked cocktails, there’s quite little that can go wrong anyway. Cereals, pancakes, croissants, sandwiches, and hot & cold beverages to go along; in short, you’re gonna find it hard to burp silently.
We suggest: – Eggs Benedict with Smoked Norwegian salmon, Scrambled eggs in warm croissant.

Probably, the most famous bakery in Noida, Theos is also frequented by international breakfast lovers. That it opens up at 11AM is not a constraint at all. After all, who wakes up early on a Sunday, right?
We suggest: – Teacakes, Baguettes, Croissants, Breakfast rolls, all varieties of desserts.
