see url Before the war of Mahabharata began, Lord Krishna questioned some of the warriors about how soon they could finish the war alone? To which Arjuna replied 28 days, Karana replied 24 days, Dronacharya replied 25 days and Bhishma replied 20 days and this is how Krishna received the answers from all of them.
enter It was then when Krishna stopped Barbarika and asked the same question to him to test his strength. And to his surprise, Barbarika said, “I can finish it in one minute.”
Barbarika had three arrows, which were given to him by the Ashtadevtas (Gods), so Krishna surprisingly questioned him back that how could he finish such a great battle with only three arrows?
Barbarika told that he can destroy all his opponents with just one arrow which would return to his quiver after that. He told that the first arrow is used to mark all the things that he wants to destroy. If he uses the second arrow it will mark all the things that he wants to save. And on using the third arrow, it will destroy all the things that were marked by the first arrow and then return back to his quiver. In short, with one arrow he can fix all his targets and with the other he can destroy them.
Was he ever the part of the great battle?
