Rs 1000 Cr to be invested by a billionaire for making movie on ‘Mahabharata’
We have already seen the destiny of Kauravas and Pandavas on the small screen and now it is time to witness the epic story of fate on the big screen and it is going to be huge !
Renowned filmmaker, V A Shrikumar Menon is directing the film and it will be out it in two parts. B R Shetty an Indian Businessman who is the chairman of UAE Exchange and NMC Healthcare is all ready to invest Rs 1,000 Crore to produce the movie. Best talent across the universe is the part of the film, it is also said that some of the cast and crew of the movie are the academy awards winners as well.
“We are fully geared to attain the next level of production quality and visual magic, as well as narrative wizardry with this initiative.” said Shrikumar Menon, who has been researching over the same from years.
“This film will have an identity across continents, with their representatives donning the myriad characters in ‘The Mahabharata’! A global team led by an internationally renowned casting director will handpick the cast.” said B R Shetty. He also added “The film will be shot primarily in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and will be dubbed into major Indian languages and leading foreign languages.”
“I am confident that this film will be adapted in over 100 languages and reach over three billion people across the world,” said Shetty.
