The fasting days are back. Navratras are those 9 festive days where people worship different Avatars of Goddess Durga. Navratras falls twice a year where people fast and pray to the Gods and Goddess!
During these 9 days (this time 10 days) traditionally, consumption of alcohol and non-vegetarian dishes is considered inauspicious. People generally avoid eating onion, garlic, grains.
Ingredients like Kuttu ka aata, fresh veggies, milk, yogurt, Singhara aata become everybody’s favorites.
