Here is the list of those trips to which every parent say ‘No’. Initially though!
Remember those days of convincing parents?
‘The generation gap’ with many positive things brings loopholes and problem too. The biggest problem of this generation is that your parent’s generation was never the same or even close to the things you do.
Most of the times parents tend to say no to some things which they fear might not turn good for you. Well, we know it’s their concern.
And, there was always a “No” whenever we talked about trips. Be it short or long trips or just an outing. It was always a fuss to convince them.
We are dead sure you must have heard a “No” when you first talked to them about these trips.
1. Your first Goa trip
Well, almost every Indian parent has said no to this one! Ever wondered why? No matter how much you say that “What happens in Goa, Stays in Goa” but, every parent knows what will happen in Goa!
2. Late night highway drives
The most cliched answer you get when you ask for such drives “ Aadhi raat ko kahi tafri marne ki zarurat nahin hai ghar baith”.
3. Rides on rain
They don’t really understand the point of going out for a ride in the rain and the dialogue you get to hear on this is “ Koi zarurat nahi hai baarish me jaane ki, sadko par vaise hi jam hona hai.”
4. The international trip
“Mummy, shayad mere dost Bangkok ka trip..” you don’t even complete your sentence, and except a yes what you get in return is the belan she has in her hands.
5. That adventurous trip
This is the hardest one. As soon as you tell them that you are going for paragliding stuff the reaction you will get is “ Mom’s sobbing and fake tears “(the blackmailing one).
6. Travelling with other gender
“Haan mummy, ladkiyaan bhi jaa rahe hai”. Wasn’t the “trip” enough to ask for?
“Nahi, Nahi aise nahi, log baaten krte hai.” Yes, that “Log Kya Kahenge” statement!
Arrghh!!! Somethings will never change!
Was your trip part of this list or you have any other trip with an “initial no”?
