Anushka & Her Brother Are That Sharma Ji Ke Bachche You Will Find In Any Household
The bond of brother and sister competes with the best of friendships. One may say that these two kinds of relationships are incomparable, but don’t you think your sibling is your best buddy? No matter how much we fight, these memories stay and we long for each other despite the inevitable physical distance. That bloodsucking demon of a brother/sister becomes most precious with time.
What about celebrity siblings? Are they same as us? Anushka Sharma and her brother, Karnesh Sharma’s equation with each other is same as yours. Anushka’s awaited ‘Phillauri’ has been made in their production house, and they recently appeared for an interview where the siblings talked about their just usual bro-sis relationship.
“I Used To Fool Anushka”
On being asked about their childhood together, Karnesh straightaway says, “I used to fool Anushka into making my parents buy things which I wanted”. Anushka puts this statement in perspective by giving us an example most of the elder siblings will agree with, “I used to blindly trust him. Like I remember asking my parents to buy me a video game aur ek din bhi maine uska remote haath mein nahin pakda”.
“I Never Got Roses, Not Even Chocolates In School…I Was Later Told That He Had Told All The Guys To Stay Away From Me.”
Just like any big possessive brother, Karnesh has never let a guy even breathe near Anushka. He also recalls how Anushka never liked the girls he was interested in. Classic case of brothers & sisters. We just have to budge in each other’s lives.
“Last time, I gave her Rs 100”
On asking about the gifting culture between the two, Karnesh tells, “Last time, I gave her Rs 100. Demonetization hua tha, and she didn’t have a Rs 100 note”. Anushka adds to this and says that we give each other whatever need. She also said, “He is a gift in my life”.
“Every Day When We Leave The House, We Ask Money From My Mom”
Sounds familiar, right? All of us do this even now. Mom is the supreme head, and we are the hungry cubs. The duo talks in the humblest of way about humblest of things, it almost felt like Sharma ji ke bachche talking about their day-to-day life.
